CALL TO CHRIST HAS CARRIED A BURDEN FOR DISCIPLESHIP FROM INCEPTION AND BECAUSE OF THIS, A UNIQUELY UNBENDING MESSAGE OF FAITH EMERGED CONTRARY TO POPULAR TEACHINGS. 

HOLDING TO THE MESSAGE OF "THE GOSPEL FORERUNNERS OF OLD" WHO TAUGHT US BY THE GOSPEL THE ANSWER TO QUESTIONS UNANSWERED BY ANECDOTES AND HUMAN ENDEAVORING, HAVE CALLED US BY THE INCOMPARABLE TRUTH WHICH HAS POWER AGAINST SIN.  THAT THE GOSPEL SHOULD NOT FAIL TO PRODUCE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH DOES NOT SWAY TO THE DECEIT OF EMPTY BELIEFS BUT PROMISES THAT 'THERE IS NOTHING THAT IS COVERED THAT WILL NOT BE REVEALED, AND HIDDEN THAT WILL NOT BE KNOWN'.

A Foreward and Introduction to Call to Christ Ministry


In the words of Deitrich Bonhoeffer:

“A God who let us prove his existence would be an idol.”

And again in the words of Martin Luther:

“This is my absolute opinion: he that will maintain that man's free-will is able to do or work anything in spiritual cases be they never so small, denies Christ. This I have maintained in my writings, especially in those against Erasmus, one of the learnedest men in the whole world, and thereby will I remain, for I know it to be the truth, though all the world should be against it; yea, the decree of Divine Majesty must stand fast against the gates of hell.”

And finally in the words of Charles Spurgeon:

“... and I will go as far as Martin Luther, in that strong assertion of his, where he says, ‘If any man doth ascribe of salvation, even the very least, to the free will of man, he knoweth nothing of grace, and he hath not learnt Jesus Christ aright.’ It may seem a harsh sentiment; but he who in his soul believes that man does of his own free will turn to God, cannot have been taught of God, for that is one of the first principles taught us when God begins with us, that we have neither will nor power, but that He gives both; that he is ‘Alpha and Omega’ in the salvation of men.”

Thus the Word of Jesus Christ is understood:

“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.  It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’  Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” [John 6:44, 45 NKJV]
